We broke from the kiss, my heart softly tendered in his caring arms,
as he seemed to be everywhere and everything.
...Breathing through me, beating in my heart and my head once quiet, but
now full of his love songs. And I looked up in the vast darkness and smiled.
His eyes shining brighter than stars, in an endless universe.
"I love you"
Spoken like a native word, flowing so fluent. Though so
quiet leaving my lips, the words spoke power in the loudest cry. Filling the
air between us as once more his lips pressed against mine.
"I love you too." And at that moment, I swore we were infinite. Playing along with the moon and the stars,
in ecstasy so great there were no words to describe it.
But seriously.
Okay, I'm going to go and sit in a corner and read this over and over. Tell everyone else to leave me alone for a while.
'Your favourite thing in the whole universe'
No, no, I'm happy that you love it! You only deserve the best after all!
And no problem! Just glad I came around and posted something again!
...I think since I actually sat down three years ago, or so now, and first listened to a country song, he was my favourite singer. Besides Sugarland and Carrie Underwood. ...First song I ever heard of his had to be "I Told You So". ....And then I heard "Making Memories of Us" and I was just hooked. He just writes the sweetest songs, I can literally vouch that I've never heard another artist write like he does.
Personally, I don't understand why so many people hate country music. A lot of it is actually very good. And most songs are better than what you hear on the pop radio channels. At least they have more substance.
